BobCAD

BobCAD is a program that can generate "g-code" from a solid model, surface model, or a 2D profile. The cnc program can be checked in the virtual machine to insure there are no interference with the clamps holding the part to the table and the cutter does not crash with the part.

BobCAD supports the following CAD formats:

• SolidWorks: .sldprt extension
• AutoCAD: .dwg and .dxf  extensions
• Rhino CAD .3dm extension
• Initial Graphics Exchange Specification (IGES): igs extension
• STEP: .stp and .step
• Stereolithography: .stl extension
• ACIS: .SAT Extension
• Parasolid: .x_b & .x_t & .cad
